Office/Property Manager - DPF Properties, Inc.
About Us:
DPF Properties, Inc. is a thriving real estate management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the roles of Office Manager and Property Manager. Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the overall success of our properties.
Responsibilities:
As the Office/Property Manager, you will be instrumental in the overall operation of our properties, ensuring the implementation of policies, procedures, and programs that contribute to a well-managed, well-maintained building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones, providing leasing information, scheduling appointments for tours, taking maintenance requests, and assisting residents with their needs.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of management, including administrative and financial duties.
- Assist in creating monthly reports, including renewals, rents, leasing, traffic, and resident retention programs.
- Collaborate on lease renewals and make recommendations on marketing strategies to generate traffic.
- Manage the handling of resident service requests and address various concerns as required.
- Oversee the collection of rent and submit notices as required.
- Distribute late notices to residents, including 3-day notices, 7-day notices, as well as Violation Notices following company rules and regulations.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service orientation.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome objections, creating a sense of urgency.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen focus on detail.
- Proactive individual capable of working independently.
Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
- One or two years of property management-related experience preferred.
- Proficient in internet software, systems software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Industry Software AppFolio experience is preferred.
Job Type: 30+ hours per week
